22 flights later... we finally made it! Home soil!
The original purpose of this trip was for us to see more of the world before we start the baby-making process and we certainly achieved that. 2010 saw a number of gains and losses. Andrea gained an airline job and (deliberately) lost an airline job. Nathaniel gained his first grey hair and (unintentionally) lost his metabolism. So what have we learnt from our travels across the globe? First and foremost: Australia is still the undisputed greatest country in the world. Second, any challenge can be conquered when you have a 'she-wee'. And lastly, what doesn't kill you will either make you stronger or give you a severe case of gastro. From the mountains of the Andes to the cobbled streets of Europe, the wind-swept sands of Arabia, the majestic savannahs of Africa, and the bustling cities of Asia - we have seen and learnt so much but really we have only scratched the surface. The world is an amazing place...
