The Drive to port douglas was amazing.. costal views for the whole time that made us want to stop and take snaps every 100 meters.. we pulled over to one stop and walked through a small opening inbetween trees to see our forst glipmse of what would be a common view for us.. the most amzing beach... with rainforest meeting the sand.. with only a handfull of people on it.. if this beach was anywhere in europe it would be crowded..

we pushed on and stoped to take in the views a couple more times before reaching port douglass.. a small town that revolved around the beach and aimed solely at holidaymakers, mainly australians..

we struck gold here, we parked a stones throw from the beach, free public grills to use as well public toilets.. complete with a cold outdoor shower!!! brrrr..... a couple of nights passed here, with us enjoying the sun and looking around the town... our next stop was cape tribulation set in daintree national park..
