had to get another night bus from iguassu to Sao Paulo which was late so we had to get a private bus to catch a small boat across to Ihla Grande.

didnt even now this was on teh trip so its a nice suprsie and because we cant go to parati weve got longer here. its a little tropical holdiay type isalnd. no roads and narrow streets and in many ways reminds me of teh thai islands, expecially Ko Phi Phi. and since the weathers warm it was really nice to get of a boatg at a little jetty and walk towards the beach front been hassled by people offereing guesthouses. bumbped into katy again so aspent a couple fo nigths out with her and apparantly tom who i also worked with is here but i havnt seen him yet. got a boat around to Lopes Mendes beach, really nice beach and jus layed in the sun, finally! its been two months since ive had any sun and it seems ages, cant face coming home as pale as i left!

there is also a girl travelling with katy that i met on the RYLA i did the other summer. very small world. i didnt recognise her at all though which was a bit embarassing.

they have metal carts here to pull peoples luggage in so when i walked katy back to her hotel it was too tempting not to have a go. i tipped it up though when i was pulling katy and tried to turn and the noise of the wheels ont eh cobbles woke the hotel up apparantly, someone thought loads of women in high heels were running downt eh road. ha.

there's loads of dogs on this island again and ive taken to naming them all. and, since its so small you see them all again. its really strange as most of them are blanatnaly stray but they all look healthy, and really freindly.

that pretty much brings me upo to today so im going to go and work on that tan, ginger or not!
