Jade Jake! There's so much more to Sydney than clubbing. Heres a link to a website about music festivals in the area. There's a brilliant one starting soon-ish which is Spanish folk music - check it out. http://www.sydney.com/events/los-coronas-sydney-festival A website with info on local gigs, live music etc http://www.au.timeout.com/sydney/music There are loads of cool little markets out there as well - you've just got to ghet out of Pitt street and go find them! Here's some info: http://www.sydney.com.au/markets.htm (I've heard the night markets are brilliant!) Have fun :-) love ya xx
aunty Lisa what an experience Jake, glad you made it out of the tailors shop x
re: I wasn't quite done...John I can thoroughly recommend the great monument to our beloved Robbie Burns.
re: I wasn't quite done...Mama Mia Great - really nice to read about the little details. I can almost imagine what it's like, from your descriptions. It sounds a bit scary though. (what a wimp I am!) I hope Sydney is looking better each day. One question - who is HRS?
re: I wasn't quite done...Gma. I'm enjoying this. You can add "travel writer" to your long list of skills. A friend of mine (Scottish, guess who?) suggests you go see the statue of Robbie Burns(Scottish poet) in a park in Sydney. You can't miss that, CAN YOU!!!?? Keep exploring. lotsaluv.

re: 1 week down...Dad Brilliant. Sounds like you need to head on back to the Far East. and £20 for a shirt in Bangkok must be expensive...you can get one in M&S for that! Always haggle hard. and never accept anything anyone offers especially of the suspicious kind. ie if it aint in a bottle with a secure lid then dont accept it. Have fun son.
