Welcome to my attempt at internet blogging! This could be a complete disaster, but hopefully I'll be able to figure out how to use a blog and show you all the amazing things I'm going to be doing and seeing (hopefully - you never know what could happen!)

I do like to ramble on, so there should be some journal entries and lots of pictures if you get bored of me waxing lyrical about how amazing everywhere is!

I'm not purposely trying to make you all jealous. Well, only a little bit. But even if I am, I will miss you all lots, so it would be great if you leave me a message every so often to let me know how you're all getting on (and if you are indeed jealous of my wanderings!)

So, just for a run down on the trip. Tania and I start off in Thailand (the first day is coincidently, my birthday - so birthday messages would be nice ;0)) and move on to Australia via Singapore and Malaysia. We then head over to Fiji, for a relaxing week on a paradise beach and then off to New Zealand for some hair-raising, action packed adventures with the hairy Paul Bennun (3 weeks in a camper van with Danny, Paul and Tania - interesting, and perhaps slightly smelly!) Finally, we move on to South America for the final part of our trip - first off Chile and Argentina, then on to Rio for the Carnival and the trip across South America with Dragoman (http://www.dragoman.com/destinations/tripdetails.php?cat=wci) which includes the Brazilian Pantanal, Iguassu Falls, Bolivian Salt Flats and the Inca Trails. Exciting stuff - even if I do say so!

Like I said before, it would be great to hear from you, and hope you enjoy hearing (and seeing) about my trip.
