chloe here, day 5 of the great aussie adventure & we've finally conquered the jetlag! it obviously hasn't been helped by some very sociable sydney nights out & a horrific cold. not for the first time this summer, i wonder if it was swine flu. particularly as our plane was temporarily quarantined as we landed in sydney (did i mention that?!) anyway, i'm over my illness & it hasn't stopped us from doing anything! we've been partiularly enjoying newtown & it's lovely little rooftop bars, complete with great humoured locals & all round friendliness. i will definitely pass on the news to brighton that smiling whilst working behind a bar does not make your face crack!

so on gloria's reccommendation we headed off to circular quay yesterday (i think) where i had a sense of deja vu, not sure if i've been there but seemed very familiar. we got the manly ferry & i shamelessly took near 100 photos of the opera house & harbour bridge while andrea (sensibly) sat back & enjoyed the view.

didn't think much of manly itself (the beach was lovely though of course), right my lift is here, i'm off. hope england is treating you all well.
