hey

well im finally in the great country of oz. we got to melbourne so days ago - havent a clue about days anymore!! its still weird being away from the group and as paula said its quite lonely at times as we were use to being with so many people for so long.

tracy hasnt got her working visa so she is going to get a flight to new zeland with keith and wait there until it comes through (u have to be out of the country) so paula and i are currently trying to decide wat to do while she away. we are going to travel the east coast once she gets back again.

we are in base backpackers hostel - this is the best hostel in the world - its even better than some hotels but its full of young ones - its just one long party!!

we havent done to much - went out on our first day to meet paula and tracy friend charlene, in melbourne city and forgot to come home. went to P J o'briens bar and stayed there all day - yaga bombs are the coolest drink ever - some kind of shot thing but letal!! it was such a cool day though - being on the trek we didnt have days like that. got a teddy bear bought for me also from a guy called micheal who charlene is here with. its so cute!!

being pretty boring apart from that - we just been getting bank accounts and mobile phones sorted and sunbathed a bit. its unbelievably cold here at nite - i mean its freezing.

we have decided to go fruit picking for the 3 months in july up in darwin with terry so we can get a second years visa if we like - dont know how we are exactly going to do it - but it will be funny trying to pick the fruit.
