Hallo zusammen

Hier also mein erster Eintrag.. Meine zweite Woche in London läuft bereits und wir konnten am Osterwochenende bereits einiges unternehmen.

Ich bin am 27. März hier angekommen und wohne nun bei Mrs. Grange, meiner Gastmutter. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und mein Zimmer ist grösser als das zu Hause in der Schweiz ;) Am Montag hatte ich dann meinen ersten Schultag.. Wir sind zu zwölft in der Klasse - alles Junas, alle aus der Schweiz :)

Am Donnerstagabend waren wir unter anderen in einem Pub namens Waxy O'Connors, das war wirklich der Hammer! Es ist mitten in der Stadt... Eine Live Band hat super Stimmung gemacht.. kann ich nur weiterempfehlen :)

Am Freitag gingen wir erst einmal einkaufen im Westfield Shopping Center. Dort hat es über 260 Shops von H&M, Nike, Apple über Desigual, Burberry, Gucci oder Ed Hardy findet man alles hier! Abends folgte ein gutes italienisches Abendessen.

Samstags fand das alljährliche Boat Race statt, bei dem die Mannschaften der Oxford und der Cambridge University gegeneinander antreten. Entgegen unserer Erwartungen war das ein riesiger Event mit tausenden Zuschauern. Wir haben das Rennen vor einem grossen TV-Screen mitverfolgt, da die Seeufer-Plätze schon alle belegt waren.
Am Abend war dann natürlich noch Ausgang angesagt... :)

Den Sonntag haben wir gemütlich angehen lassen und uns im Pub getroffen um unsere Hausaufgaben zu erledigen... Am Abend gingen wir dann noch spontan ins Kino und haben uns den Film "Clash of the Titans" angesehen. War nicht wirklich eine Herausforderung betreffend der englischen Sprache, da mehr gekämpft als gesprochen wurde... :)

Vorgestern war dann noch einmal shoppen angesagt. waren im Abercrombie & Fitch Shop... war ein interessantes "Shopping-Erlebnis" :) dämmriges Licht, House-Musik, tanzende Verkäufer und vor allem sehr viele Leute!! =)

also ich verabschiede mich fürs erste mal wieder... bis bald und machets guet!

Hi guys,

At first: sorry, but the english version might be a bit shorter than the german one because I already wrote enough for the next fex days.. :)

I hope you're all doing good in Switzerland... It's my second week here and we already did a lot of shopping during the weekend...

I am staying Mrs. Grange's home and my bedroom is actually bigger than the one in Switzerland :) the food is delicious!! even the breakfast ;)
We have a great class here with twelve people - all Junas..

On Thursday evening we went to a Irish Pub called Waxy O'Connors - it was amazing! There was a live band playing and the atmosphere was just great!! recommend it to everybody that's visiting London!!

We went shopping in the Westfield Shopping Center on Friday.. This is a huge shopping center with more than 260 shops in there from Burberrys, H&M, Nike, Apple to Desigual, Burberry, Gucci and Ed Hardy... In the evening we enjoyed an Italian dinner just near our school...

On Saturday there was the traditional boat race which is taking place each year. the teams of the Oxford and Cambridge University paddle against each other.. In contrary to our expectations it was a very big event with thousands of people watching this... :)

After the long Saturday night when we discovered the nightlife of London we met in a pub for doing homework... we didn't do a lot during the day but went to the cinema in the evening watching "Clash of the Titans"... the english was not really a challenge as they were more fighting than speaking.. ;)

On Monday we went shopping again and went to the Abercrombie & Fitch store as the guys were desperate to go there and i can understand now why =) it's a kind of weard but also very nice shop... there is not much light in there, the shop assistants are dancing to house music :) but they have a lot of nice clothes there so I am sure it wasn't the last time we went there :)
