On monday we were left to our own devices as B and Edd had to work... We slept in ...well till nine am (Steven was eleven) then pottered about. It was lovely, we played with dim sum, spruced up and did the remainder of the washing. I then had the most amazing bath which lasted about an hour before pampering myself by moisturising from head to toe and painting my nails (such luxury). We then sat down and enjoyed a cup of tea while I blogged and read magazines and Steven watched Schindler's list and throughly depressed me. It wasn't long before B was home and bought with her some delicious choux pastries... Yummy! Steven had chocolate walnut, me strawberry and B had mango. They were delicious... I then got on with the pie ready for Edds arrival later. I rolled the puff pastry and egged the top to make it shiny before preparing the Roasties and the weird veg we had found in the supermarket... Or dragon egg as Edd called it. It's a weird looking broccoli cabbage type thing that looks like lots of little trees all over it. It tastes very much like cabbage raw and a bit like a mixture when cooked.
Soon after Edd was home so we set the table corked the wine and sat down to enjoy our last supper together booo!!! It was lovely and the pie was very well received with the boys having seconds... It was followed by delicious green tea ice cream. We then sat and chatted before me and Steven had the task of packing our bags... Thankfully the guys said we could leave some stuff behind and that made our bags so much lighter. By now the boys were Xboxing and it was soon bed time. We would be very sad to leave tomorrow.
