Just catching up again......sounds like wonderful places you have been visitng this month......and soon beginning the journey back home
Chris
I don't know I approve of you calling Brian a leech. If he want to suck on your foot that's entirely his business.
Pam
Finally getting around to catching up on your adventures.....Fiji sounds fabulous.....can't help but be a smidge jealous as Boston is experiencing several weeks now of freezing cold, some days with the wind chill factor it has felt like -15 degrees.....brrrrrr......and there you are in balmy Fiji and then on to the hot pools in New Zealand....what a life.....glad you are enjoying the world !!!!!
Pam
Sorry haven't written in a few weeks.....extremely busy at work plus getting ready to go to Maine for a few weeks over the holidays....couldn't help but think of you on Christmas Day....hope you had a wonderful day and the round the world experience is still exciting.....see you got Fiji pictures loaded so guess I am no longer needed!!! I knew you could do it !!!

Taking the bear into combat does seem a trifle excessive. Having also once been in a coup and not realised it for a day or so hope you are having the same experience and that as Chris says the hotel is cocooning you. Dont worry the Yanks will invade soon on a mercy mission. Does Fiji have nuclear stuff......
Pam
Well, everyone can breathe a sigh of relief.....there are new pictures loaded.....although S & B still to review as the pics did not match the index so I had to make an educated guess on what they would want to load.....so don't be surprised if you see a picture one day and then next it is gone as S & B are now in control of what goes and what stays.....fabulous pics and have enjoyed getting the opportunity to see them all.......

Funnily enough, somebody told us recently that Vancouver has gone down the pan in the last few years and it would appear you are reaffirming that. Shame, it was fantastic.
Well how exciting, Fiji. Just in time for a military coup. I don't suppose you've checked the FCO website, but all Australians, Kiwis and British are being told to not to go to Fiji as the chances of an army take over in the next few days is very high. In fact, they half expected it this weekend. Anyway, it's always been an ambition of mine to be in the thick of it during a civil war - not. On a positive note, I'm confident you'll be ok as I can't see luxury hotels being of high strategic importance. I look forward to Sandy doing a Kate Adie as the Australian and New Zealand troops hit the beaches to restore order.
I, obviously, hope everything remains calm, nothing happens and it is in fact just another day in paradise for the pair of you.

We are really enjoying the narratives. b***** the bear this is what we wanted to hear! Rather fun seeing all these places thro your eyes - even Anna Maria. Mother enjoying too as I read excerpts over phone!
Like Chris we cant access photso's which I suspect you are loading as you refer to them. Pam??

Great update from San Fransisco, everyone I know who's been there rates it as their favourite US city but that was before Sandy got to drive a duck. Vancouver's our favourite place in North America and we're green with envy.
I have one minor gripe about this site - I don't know if you're posting photos but if you are they're damned difficult to navigate. Have you added any from California because if you have I can't find a link to them. If you haven't then please ignore this rant as being utterly irrelevant.

Love the story about Donny Osmond. Jamie is getting really excited about the prospect of meeting Brian May next Saturday...his wife Anita Dobson is performing in Hello Dolly in Lincoln (UK), where Jamie is working as Asst. Stage Manager. We have to say that of the two, we would choose Mr May!!
Steve and Mick are looking forward to seeing Wishbone Ash and Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings in concert later this month. They won't be hanging aroung the stage door however.
Chris
I see a whole series of childrens books detailing the travels and adventures of Bertie the bear! The pair of you can sit in your Cornish hideaway making a small fortune off the back of this trip, and all very educational too.
Great updates, I see the pair of you are really getting into the writing and loving every minute of your trip. Only one question. Why does the map on your home page currently show you in Kansas? Are you looking for Toto?
