We arrived in Quito late friday night after our flight got delayed out of Houston because of computer problems. On Saturday we headed north to a large saturday market it was really cool. We bought a few things and then went to this really neat restaurant for dinner it was right on a lake and had a beautiful view. Later that night we went out to the main plaza in the marcisal district which was full of unique bars and restaurant and was full of people. Today Sunday it was pretty quite in town so we just roamed around and got to know the area around our hostel which is pretty central. Casa Helbling is where were staying it´s a really neat old conlonial house that has been converted into a hostel with a bunch of hidden staircases and hidden garden and roof top patio that we really like. We´re heading to the Galapagos Island tomorrow so we´ll fill you in as soon as we can.
