Great couple of days in Florence walking and soaking up the atmosphere. So many more tourists than when we last visited. Stunning buildings and beautiful countryside.

Arrived in Florence after around 33 hours on the go at around 5pm last night. Great transits and very easy to catch the train from Rome to Florence. Quick trip when you are travelling 250km/hr. Gorgeous views on the way up. Every hill adorned with a small terracotta roofed village and grapes and olives spilling down the hillsides. The planting of the yew trees gorgeous.
