Landed safely in Hong Kong and have managed to make my way to Shenzhen. I couldn't be more obvious in the new crowd that I'm surrounded by. I'm tall, blonde and white as snow! The atmosphere is completely different. Everybody has a mission to get places with no time for a quick "Hello, and have a nice day." I am really looking forward to seeing some culture, although in a 30 year old city Burger King is about as cultural as it goes. But there is the second tallest building in the world here in the city.
My flight went well. I was lucky enough to be sat with no one next to me, so no worrys about knocking elbows when eating. I must say 11 hours was tough. I couldn't sleep so the jet lag will proablly hit me later tonight. The turbulance was pretty scary and some fool kept opening the window in the dark so there was no way I could sleep as we were flying into very bright sunlight.
As I have only just arrived there's not much else to update on except I am sweaty and smelly and may possibly go get a haircut. I know, I'm just far too adventurous, but they give you massages at the same time.
