Yes this morning was very slow for everyone especially the table soccer players. Still it is a free day and we need it!
Didn't wake up till 9.30am, tossed down a bit of breakfast then back to bed till 11
The 3 of us headed up the street about 12 for brunch at a great "Western" ( in the best sense) cafe bakery which had very good gourmet sandwiches , wraps etc and good coffee and fruit shakes
Then back to the guesthouse to do nothing for the afternoon (Josh stopped off at the markets). Virginia slept and Alan did ipad stuff all afternoon
It was a much needed go slow day after a fairly busy week on the move - everyone in the group did their own thing independently
Group meeting at 7pm then off walking to special Pizza place (no. 3 on trip advisor). Had to cross the river on a wonky bamboo bridge but Josh and Alan opted out and got a tuk tuk to where Mathis told us but it was the other way so quick texting to get proper name of pizza place and another tuk tuk ride. We eventually made it and the pizza was amazing so worth the effort
Tuk tuk back to the guesthouse
Up early tomorrow to see the parade of monks
