So i haven't updated yesterdays journey here yet. I will make it short & sweet. I know that probably just my mum reads this so i need to make sure that its up to date ;) well so far the holidays been amazing. I like it more & more. Chang Mai is waaay better then Bangkok. The temperature is between 25-30 degrees. Because their winter is approaching. So its just nice & warm, rather then ridiculously hot. So as i said we will do yesterday, we took the bike & went out. It was really cheap to rent. £3 for a whole day. & to top up with fuel was £1 :) so as we were driving out of town to go towards the temple on the mountain we saw another temple. Thats where we stopped & took quite a few pics. Thailand has a lot of old temples. They are all so peaceful & beautiful :) so eventually we did make it up to the top. But kept making stops every now & then if we saw something interesting. Stopped by a waterfall. Thats where Adam got interviewed by these 2 thai boys from a local university. They had some homework to do, where they had to voice record a whole 5min of a conversation. So the questions where all around where his roots were from & stuff like that. The boy managed just 2.5 min before he stopped as he was blocked with questions. He didn't know what else to ask. So i suggested a few to him so he could get his whole 5min out :) so they left very happy once it was all over & we carried on up the mountain. Once we reached the top, literally as we were about to park the bike dies. Out of fuel. So we parked it & we thought it will be a pain getting fuel up a mountain :) nope, it wasn't, because nearly every other kiosk sells gasoline lol... In glass bottles for £1 :) so after that we saw a dog, with a dress on, painted pink nails, painted eyebrows, & a big bow to the side of its body. I would like to attach a picture but they are all on my big camera :) so back to the temple on the mountain. Its big, its beautiful & it made me go up loads & loads of stairs before i could reach it. Their dogs are very unfriendly. For some reason any dog that lives at a temple is very grumpy. On the way down the mountain, because it was getting dark & the temperatures had dropped it was freezing. So it wasn't as enjoyable. The traffic can be insane. You get stuck at traffic lights for up to 10min. The dinner was enjoyed by the river at a very very busy 3floor restaurant, that also owned 2 boat restaurants. & we had to wait for a table for about 30min. So you can imagine how much money these guys were making. & today we went to an elephant sanctuary. We got to ride them & use specific words to turn, go, stop, or reverse :) i got to ride 1 alone, a medium sized.& one with Adam. Bigger this time. They took us down to a river. I thought i was gana die honestly. Like fall down a ditch being crushed by this big elephant. I thought my ass will fall off. I enjoyed the first 10min , but after that it was pure pain. So then we washed them. & took some pics & that was it. I won't go into too much detail. Because i'm a little grumpy :) we just got back from the elephant thing, & ordered an omelette at our hostel that came with onion. So i just had some toast. Not happy....
