After arriving yesterday night, due to a very long 6 hour car journey, I was ready to get out and about for my sisters graduation. We drove to the front of her college where she walked , in a large precession, down to the chapel in the middle of town. She would graduate there with every girl from her college who was graduating that year.
Me and my twin sister left the rest of our family there however as they were going to enter the chapel to watch the ceremony. We on the other hand did not have tickets and so went for a walk and to sit on the grass while the ceremony took place. After the ceremony we joined the family again outside the chapel for pictures and walked back up to the college for a garden party, filled with music, food and a lot of sun.
Later in the evening we went out for a meal at a restaurant called Browns. The table was booked for half eight. We spent some time in the bar area, buying cocktails to celebrate. A sharing platter of different small appetisers and a bread plate was bought for a starter, which I followed with probably one of the best steaks I've ever eaten in the form of a steak sandwich. For dessert the three of us sisters shared a brownie and a creme brûlée. A great end to a great day as we walked back through the town a little more stuffed than we probably should have gotten.
