Today we spent a leisurely day enjoying all the facilities that the Esterel caravan park has to offer. Matthew wanted to go back to the kids club to make some more friends, and Ollie decided he wanted to spend time with Dad at the pool. I took a long walk through the Esterel Mountain park which is right outside the gate to the park, then spent a frustrating hour trying to get onto the parks wifi network before realizing that it just doesn't work. Although the reception says it will be fixed, the date on which they expect it fixed keeps getting pushed back, so I decided to ask for a refund of my 20 euros and do without wifi this week. We might call past a MacDonalds in the middle of the week to download our emails and post this blog.
At 12 o'clock I collected Matthew from kids club where he seemed to be playing a French version of Duck, Duck, Goose and found him merrily singing along in French with the game. We joined Geoff and Oliver for a swim in the big pools and then went back to our cabin for some lunch on our deck over looking the Esterel Mountains and with a glimpse of the Mediterranean. In the afternoon it was back to the pools and in particular the water slide, where Matthew met one of his friends from the kids club, Johnny, and made a new friend Ralph.
