Today was our first full day in our caravan park near Saint Raphael on the Cote D'Azure. Yesterday was a long day of driving. We set off from Saint Maurin just after 9am and we arrived at our destination around 7pm. Today we took a drive through Moissac which is famous for the cloisters in the old Abbey and on to a little town called Castelsarrasin, before driving very quickly onto Cahors. We have had some really lovely warm weather over the past few days with temperatures in the low to mid 30s. We have spent a large part of our day in the pool or lounging on the terrace. We have had a lovely relaxing couple of days, with some short strolls through the 10 acres surrounding the Gite, and lots of playing in the pool. Every morning Geoff has been into one of the local towns to buy bread and pastries for breakfast. Yesterday we spent the morning looking through the Amphitheatre in Nimes and then we set off for our next location near Agen in the Lot et Garronne area of South Eastern France.
