well folks we are in chita after 5 days of hard riding since we left yakustst ita been 2300kms og gravel with little bits of bitumen as the ruskies do their road works . It was really emoitanal leaving our nord brotherhood mates we were only there for 3 days but they were so hospitable but that is motor biking for you we share a special bond together. in yukhust far northern siberia the latitude here is 62 degrees it gets to minus 50 in the winter buts its much warmer than i thought now im just wearing a tshirt today ,,,there is no night here just a twilight that starts about 1am and the sun is back at 5am not that you see much sun its mostly gray. in vladovostok in russia start of the big adventure ,,,had a great trip acrowss in the DongChong ferry only 50 people on board and not a motor vehicle on board apart from our bikes.Arrived at zarabino in Russia about lunchtime and spent 4 hours in customs and immigration which for Russia is pretty good,,,met shrem and natasha [ruskie bikers] on the boat they were lovely people.
