here's the proof, we did the white water rafting, I'm the sensible one who wore his cap under the helmet to stop the glare from the water. Yes I hear you all cry these kids are really upping the fashion stakes. Check out the new photo album.
Met some great people on this raft trip and and we've made some good friends in Airlie.
We had a day out in the Whitsundays today. It's a group of islands and reef (part of the Barrier Reef). More snorkling and swimming, and we swam from the recently voted "world's best beach" Whitehaven. I'm sure that's in Wales. It deserves the accolade. Pictures to come soon. A very large ray (big flat fish member of the shark family) swam right in between everyones feet in about 5 inches of water, you could have reached out and touched it. The snorkling was fantastic as well, so many fish so many colours, so many shapes and sizes. A wonderful spectacle. Donned a 1mm neoprene wetsuit (don't you just love the technical details) this time and we did suitable James Bond poses on the beach, pictures to come soon. Off to Rockhampton tomorrow and out to Great Keppel Island just off the coast, then down to 1770's. Soon we reach hippy haunt Byron Bay, where we're gonna get massages. That's all to come. All our love, Pete & Claire xx
