Hey there!
We didn't write a new blog for a long, long time so now it's time to do some writing!
After our partynight in Perth it was quite hard to stand up in the morning, but we had to as we wanted to show Killi's driver license to the guys from the rental company for registration. We did that, went to Woolworth to pack our Camper with food and drove northwards towards the North West Coastel Highway (No 1).
The first days we had quite long drives, as the best spots in WA are to be seen in the north. We just spent a little time at the Pinnacles (funny rocks in the dessert).
When we spent a night at a rest area with some French and Danish guys, they gave us tips which places in WA would be good to see and so we decided to go to Sharks Bay.
Sharks Bay is a really good place for dolphin watching, as they come very close to the beach, to get some fish from trainers (they said, they were all wild but to feed dolphins we thought was not very natural).
After the dolphinshow we didn't know what to do so we decided to buy some cheap fishing equipment (we don't do fishing usually) and were really happy when each one of us catched a fish and we had a great meal in the evening!
The day after that was just driving again but another day later we arrived at Exmouth, a town close to the Ningaloo Reef. This reef is very famous in Australia as it is a good snorkeling and diving spot. We decided to do it differnt. The first night we slept at a caravanpark (we got drunk for sure) and went to Cape Range Nationalpark the next day (Ningaloo Reef Park). Instead of snorkeling we started to do some fishing but Killi was ill so he had to go back to the camper. Instead of enjoying the wonderfull reef Mike and Me also decided to hang around at the camper and we left the next day, as we decided that the water was to cold for snorkelling.
That was really, really stupid as all the people we met afterwards said they had a great time snorkeling there and it was about 300km extra just for nothing!
That's it for now!
Yours Killi, Mike and Hias
