I am blogging again, the life here is extremely laid back, nothing is done in a hurray, the people sleep until 8.30 some even as late as 12.30 pm, but they don't go to sleep before midnight.
Dinner here is about 9 ish, on the rare occasion that we eat at 8.30 it is a miracle.
Lunch is big, it starts usually with pasta then a second usually a meat or fish, in the evening it is either left overs of some sort. Also vegetables (home grown) is also popular.
Order of the day is coffee with some sort of "dolce" for breakfast then pasta or soup (with lots of pastina) then the second dish followed by coffee & cake.
There are many restaurants with a variety of food, some cheap meals and some a bit more expensive, fish is popular along the beach areas of our region, wine either red or white is also the preferred drink for the adults.
Water is also consumed in large amounts either "frizzante" or "lissie.
We have all succumbed to the horrible virus of a soar throat and dreadful cough. (even dad).
Although the season is spring the weather is very unpredictable, at the moment it is very cold, wet and raining and it is cherry picking weather.
There are many cherry trees in our region, the best cherries are big red variety, sweet and juicy.
We have consumed so many cherries about the same as when we were in Calgary
