Alison & Ian Craddock's Travels
This morning we went for a hike! As this is Grizzly country we joined a group hiking to Consolation Lake a short walk of 8km.
A lovely hike it was - Kevin our guide kept us safe by shouting into the woods to keep away the Grizzlies. He also showed Pika, Porcupine damaged trees and tales of hikes gone wrong.
We returned to witness a helicopter rescue from a mountain top overlooking the lake.
Then we went for it and went for Canoe on the glacial lake. Now - Ally was bricking it as the water temperature is only 4 degrees at the best so the canoe adventure was short lived but very nice. May do this again in non-glacial waters...........
