So we decided to go to St. Lucia for our honeymoon because it had the most to do in my opinion out of all the islands in the caribbean. Not only did it have volcanos, but activities like kayaking, sailing, atvs, and ziplining were available. We flew into UVF which is an hour away from our Sandals Regency Resort which was fine because they drive you to the hotel. I loved Sandals because you don't have to worry about ANYTHING. They drive you were you need to go, you have access to the other Sandals, and they are so nice. Everyone speaks English and Creole. They take US dollars everywhere. Take bug repellent, something I regret I didn't do. Ziplining through the rain forest was amazing. You go through 11 ziplines and there is some hiking, trust me, a work out! I only brought sandals for my honeymoon so definitely bring sneakers if you plan on doing ziplining. I bought water shoes for it. We rented wave runners at the Sandals Grande for $40 for 30 minutes which was great compared to Miami prices. Don't forget sunblock, the gift shop totally overprices for them. You don't need to bring beach towels, the resort has them available by the pool. The ATV excursion was sooo much fun. They take you to a beach where NO ONE is at, which was gorgeous. Banana is their main source of income on the island so try their banana ketchup! Other than that, Sandals has so many activities for the day and great restaurants. The restaurants are not buffet like most all inclusive resorts, they are sit down dinners which is great. If you are a reader, bring your book, the shops also over price books.
