Were now at cape laveque on the dampier peninsula staying at kooljamin. We've been here for 2 nights and have another 2 to go. We have amazing sunsets, lazy days by the beach mixed with aboriginal communities and sandy corrugated roads.
Loving this place and the colour of the water.
We drove down to middle lagoon this morning, fantastic camp ground and beach between kooljamin and broome. we bumped into Neil and Julie and their 3 kids so spent the morning chatting with them, swimming and building sand castles. Issy enjoyed the sand and we even got her in the water for a swim. She also loved playing with Ruben.
We were having a great time down there but had to leave just after lunch to make it back in time for our sunset cruise. We ended up only just making it back and had to go straight to the cygnet bay pearl farm where the cruise went from.
We spent the next few hours sailing around the bay watching the sun go down while issy enjoyed watching her DVD and talking to Margo . They both took a liking to each other and issy even helped get dinner ready. She wasn't too sure about Tilly the poodle tho she soon got used to her. I think issy was happy to stay on board the night...
