Hi everyone!!

I made it. It looks really good so far everyone is really nice and the hostel is
great. On the first trip by bus from the airport I saw a yellow taxi with an
advertisment saying "diets are mean" lol.

It was a bit gloomy when I arrived but not to bad, today it was sunny but still a
bit cold. I had a bit of trouble trying to get of of JFK but managed it. Then went
to Grand central station where there was a light show on inside. Didn't pay much
attention though coz I was a bit tired.

I also got a metro card for 7 days for $24 which I thought was good. The first night
I just watched halloween on telly and met some of the people I am sharing with.
Everyones really friendly, There where 4 girls and 4 lads including me in the dorm.

The first proper day was good, I woke up at 6.30 an went for an american b'fast.
Then went to central park and walked all the way down to the tip of manhattan. Also
had a stereotypical hot dog from a vendor. There are some great shops down 5th Av. I
was on the subway and 4 men got on and started singing it was highly amuseing.

Came back to the hostel and met some more people, the guys from my room invited me
to meet some of there friends. We all went to an Irish pub and resturant (didn't
drink though). They were all from the UK apart from one who was from spain.

Also there was three guys in the subway station who were breakdancing and a huge
crowd had gathered.

Anyway wont waffel on, miss you all but having a wicked time.
