Arrived in Zanzibar after an slightly hectic flight via Nairobi and Mobassa, tired, dazed and slightly confused and 3 visa stamps in about 24 hours. A very bumpy drive through the jungle brought us to our hotel only to find it was closed, fortunately for us we were upgrated to the 5* hotel next door! A truely luxurious start to our trip.

We'll be coming back to earth with a bump tomorrow when we leave the hotel and head for the budget accommodation in Stone Town, Zanzibar! H&J xxx
