Well we arrived in Porto Portugal. The mode of transportation between sintra and Porto was challenging to say the least.
We knew we had to go from sintra back to the main oriente station. Then we hoped to take a train to Porto but online they showed all trains booked. Not believing that “All” the trains were booked we went to ticket area and sure enough all booked for another 5 hours.
We then went to bus terminal and got on the bus for 20 euros each ( basically big grey hound). The ride was three hours long.
Yep chair directly in front of me was not working g right and wouldn’t lock in upright position and would recline back way past normal, to the point it would be on my lap. So a very nice young lad took care of me and was mindful when it would slip back. Probably was a bit creepy on his part having his head laying on my lap. Okay that sounded bad it was creepy for me also.
We arrived and began our 2.3 km walk to the Airbnb which is in old part of Porto by the river. Very nice.
Out to dinner at a quaint little restaurant where I ventured out and had wild boar stew. Very good. Mom had a chicken meal. Poor mom living off chicken.
Anyway to the market and then in for the night
