G'day from Brisbane! Since our last blog we had our 3 day trip to Fraser Island which was fantastic. I did most of the driving in our 4x4 and it was great fun, particularly through the forests and mud tracks. Thankfully we didn't have any breakdowns or instances of getting stuck! Hi from Airlie Beach! We're just back from a 3 day boat trip to the Whitsunday Islands which was fantastic and the best thing we've done since arriving in Oz. We went to Whitehaven Beach one morning and it was a beach like paradise, on par with Phi Phi Le in Thailand. We saw some sting rays and small sharks as well as a masseef lizard thing! Cairns is brilliant. The weather is awesome, 35 degrees everyday and sun always shining. The tans are coming along nicely! We've agreed a deal "in principal" for a Nissan 4x4 jeep with some Belgians - it's a mean machine! We're meeting the people tomorrow morning at 11:00 to finalise the deal! Have been in Singapore for a couple of days since arriving from Kuala Lumpar and leave here tomorrow to fly to Cairns. Kualar Lumpar was good, just as I'd imagined, massive buildings and towers everywhere. We went up the KL Tower which is the 4th tallest tower in the world - views over the city were quality.
