Hey guys,

Got to cardiff after we missed our train in Taunton -(caroline bought us new tickets shes sooo lovely). Then as we arrived in Cardiff it decided to absolutley piss down, ive never seen rain like it, even Te Anau has nothing on cardiff!!!

So here we are soaked, backpacking, trying to find our hostel which we walked up and down St Mary street for an hour trying to find - turns out it was under the name of another hotel. Then we get told our rooms on the 9th floor - NO ELEVATOR!!!! nearly killed us a. Pretty sure thats the closest weve come to wanting to end eachother so far.

Cardiff was a nice city kinda like Christchurch, it wasnt as busy as the other places weve been too, and once it stopped raining we decided to do a pub crawl (on foot). Got quite legless really and once again those stairs nearly killed us. Started drinking at 2pm and were in bed by 10pm.

Next day we did cardiff castle and cardiff bay - all very nice and touristy.

We seen a drunk homeless guy joed out on a corner it was funny as, i smelt him b4 i seen him. Im going to give him some praise tho, his whisky bottle was still vertical.

Off to dublin next................
