Day 8 - Geneva
In the morning, I brought Benji with me at the breakfast area for breakfast. He was well-behaved and sat quietly at the stroller, just looking into space and occasionally observing the people around him. Just when I thought at first that I could have a long and slow breakfast, Benji made noise and I had to finish up quickly and make my way back to the room.
In the room, we spent some time praying and worshipping together. Not that he knew how, but I was doing it and hoping he would learn it some day. After that, he was just flipping back and forth on the bed until he grew tired and it didn't take long for me to pat him to sleep. This boy must be really tired. He slept for at least two hours plus. While he slept, I was just random surfing on my laptop.
When Emma came back in the afternoon during lunchtime, we went to browse around at some watch shops. Then we had lunch at a sandwich shop where we had sandwiches and for me an additional cup of coffee.
After she headed back to office, it was goofing around time with Benji where we repeated the same routes as I had ran out of ideas where else to go. The primary objective was to allow him to fall asleep in the nice and cold weather. The method worked and he slept for about one half hours while I was just window-shopping.
In the evening, we had dinner at Rasoi, a one-Michelin starred Indian restaurant at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva; it was really wining and dining. Overall, it was a pleasant experience of getting to know Emma's colleagues better, apart from the food and wine.
We ended dinner at about 1045pm. After settling Benji, we hit the sack at 1145pm plus.
