Hi Everyone, so we ended up staying in Phi phi for 8 night because it was so nice. after that we started off on the rather epic journey to cambodia. we got an overnight bus from Krabi to Bangkok, where we ended up staying for a night, then the next morning we got a mini busw to the border and then a taxi on to siem reap in cambodia. we stayed in siem reap for 3 nights, of course going to angkor wat and the other temples of ankor, they were amazing but it was very very hot wandering round them, we went to 5 in the end i think. siem reap is pretty touristy i guess because of tyhe temples. after siem reap we got a 'luxury limosine bus'to phnom penh, which is where i am now. that was pretty mad, the busdrivers use their horns every 2 seconds, im glad it wasnt i night bus because we would have got no sleep whatso ever it was excessive. here it is a lot less touristy, and obviouslt being a bigger city very hot and busy. crossing the road here is a challege and tcars and motobikes and tuk tuks seem to drive all over the road as they please. we are trying to sort out of visa for vietnam while we are here, and so will probably stay until tuesday as the embassy is closed at the weekend. today we went to the killing fields of chong elk and also tyhe tuol sleng museum which used to be a schhol beofre it was turned into a prison/area of torture. it was really iunteresting but pretty horrible. it is very hot here and we dotn have air con but we do have a room with double beds, our own bathroom and a tv for $4 each so we are pretty pleased with that. on tuesday, visa being sorted in time, we wiill be going to ho chi minh city in vietnam. i will write again soon. xxxx
