This morning has been pretty hard... Said goodbye to Mark at the airport which was heartbreaking :'( I'm sitting on the plane at the moment only about half an hour into the 11 hour flight. Ill feel better in about an hour when I know Mark is home and not still travelling back home from seeing me off...
So after Mark left I headed over to the small group I could see with Bunac T-shirts on, so I introduced myself to some very nervous people, I think they were all sitting there together and hadn't introduced themselves,so once I'd said hello to everyone they kind of all introduced themselves to each other, it makes me wonder how long they had been sitting there without talking lol! Made me feel quite good, that I kinda broke the ice for some of them. People started to arrived and said hello but there were too many to go round so I just waited in the background a little bit. Then the Bunac rep arrived and gave us all our tickets and we headed off to check in. I was stood next to Amie in the que, who had an absolutely huge suitcase! Lol she was laughing about it and saying she felt really stupid but she needed everything she'd brought lol. Amie's parents came right up to the gate to say bye...glad I didn't do it that way and had already said goodbye, think it would have made it worse. It was a bit weird sayin bye to mam and Greg at the train station yesterday because I wasn't leaving then so didnt feel sad, think if they were at the airport I might have been...it did help that Greg and mam were waving me off with white tissues and pretending to cry when the train pulled away!! Lol!
So anyway while i was waiting around for the flight I got chatting to a few people and there are definatley a few of the girls who seem nice and that could be potential travel partners lol! So we'll see how Hong Kong goes!! :) xx
