Wow

Rio is one of the most impressive places I have ever been in my life.

I can't even begin to describe the landscape, the vibe, the joy of the local people, the noise, the dancing all around!

It is truly a once in a life experience to visit Rio during Carnival. I was a bit surprised I must admit I was a bit into the whole 50s glamour, Frank Sinatra, Garota de Ipanema, and rich american tourists flying in Pan American Airlines :)

Things have changed all right. Rio is a place of contrasts. The rich and the poor live together in this place that manages to overwhelm first time visitors and to leave a nostalgic feeling to tourists that leave.
