tim and i just got back from the Whitsunday islands, we spent 2 nights on the Condor, its a world famous racing boast, obviously retired now tho. we helped put the sails up and everything, the mast was 103 metres high so was pretty cool. we sailed around and massive turtles came up to the boat, we also sailed past a humongus humpback whale which was just playing around in the water and rolling over. so awesome!!! we went snorkelling on the reef and saw some amazing fish, i had a panic attack as i jumped in tho as there was a massive jelly fish right infront of my face and tim and i were the first in off the boat, the others were a bit lame. we also saw an amazing Sea Eagle. the skipper got Tim to whistle for ages and the eagles swooped down and took the food, was unbelievable how big and graceful it was. suprisingly i didnt get sea sick at all which was brilliant. we also saw a massive star fish at whitehaven beach, everything over here seems to be five times the size of things at home! Absolutly stunning beaches here, just need a bit more sun but is still really warm, not fair that this is their winter!!!
