Hi, There seems to be a mistake in one of your posts. "....is the ending of Ramadam, so we got to see special celebrations. It's not everyday you see a precetion of painted elephants." If you are referring to the procession in Mysore, it was more likely the festival of Dasara (which is in October also). You can read more about it here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mysore_Dasara . I know this coz I was born and brought up there. Glad you had fun. Hope this helps,
Take Care.

Well Holly, what can I say! You are going to have a great time at uni trying to set the world right & I really hope you do it! How right you are in what you say and how wrong we all are to turn a blind eye to the struggle these people have. I still bet they sleep better at night than most westerners! So glad you are still enjoying your experience and really look forward to seeing you upon your return. Take care & continue to enjoy!

Hiya honey, Cant believe you can be bored in such a different place. Also I cannot believe you are going to be going running... Say hi to all those elephants for me and tell them I will visit them soon.

Hi Holly, just a quick line to say we're hoping all is going well and that you are seeing and enjoying lots of different things out there. I bet the children are getting to know you and are enjoying the activities and time with you! I hope it is proving to be rewarding for both you and them with plenty of good fun. You'll be pleased to know that Oxford Street in London is getting just as noisy with car hooters sounding off at the dawdling shoppers looking for Christmas bargains. Your mind eventually blocks out persistent sounds! at least thats what they say! Take care and we look forward to reading more about your adventures when you get time and opportunity to record them. Love Nigel and Kate

Hi Holly,
So good to hear all your news and especially to see your photos (please post lots more!). Looks so exciting out there and what a great project. The kids looks like they're loving your sessions with them.
Must have been strange seeing the Black Eyed Peas out there, was it a big venue?
Keep having lots of fun and keep the posts coming.
All my love,
Katrina x
Great Auntie Marilyn

Great to see you are settling and beginningto enjoy the new experience. The youngsters look great and the embroidery piece the girl was holding up was stunning. I have to say the scenery is quite different to Thatcham High St. and the colours in the costumes are all bright and cheerful, unlike our black, grey and whites!! Anyway you take care and we will try to keep up with your journals as much as possible. Love Nigel and Kate
