Next stop Tok, Alaska but not before exploring the desert of Carcross, BC. Something to do with the the wind because it gets plenty of rain or at least it did this day. Did I mention that a lot of bridges up here seem to be made of either wood planks or steel grates, very slick surface when wet! The trick is to look for a painted line on the bridge which indicates a concrete surface, no line, jam on the brakes or your in for a little more excitement.
This part of the Alaskan Highway for the most part turned out to be the most boring. Long streches of bad road and boring scenery except for some mountains around Haines Junction. Not even much wildlife until I hit the Alaskan border.
Found a great motorcycle campground and a good Alaskan migration story.
