Today we had decided to take onthe Market walkingtour from the trusty lonely planet guide.
We started on the MTR (the underground system) to take us under the water to Kowloon. We walked through the flower Market street and then through the goldfish Market area which consisted of shops and stalls selling every colour, shape and size fish you can imagine, it was like being back at the great barrier reef!
The bustling Market streets sold souvenirs, clothes, toys and mist other things. By the afternoon we were shattered with aching feet so headed back to the hostel for a shower before heading across the road to a Cantonese restaurant for some lovely dinner, we are getting much better with the chopsticks!
Early night and alarm set for 2am to go out to a bar and watch the England vs Sweden game!
2:00- off out to watch the game!
5:00- back to bed, very worth it! Great game 3-2 England!
After the second England goal a Chinese man ran up to Ollie and hugged him to celebrate the goal, the atmosphere was a little different to my normal pub experience back home. The room was filled with ex pats, English, Swedish and others and locals who had chosen an allegiance to either of the sides. Was a great experience.
Over and out

Tony, Beryl, Mori Wow, Wow, and even more Wow. What an absolutely wonderful experience you have all had. I would say I was jealous but I'm too old for that sort of thing now. I have been privileged to have shared it all with you. Look foreward to seeing you somewhen later in the year when you can spare the time for the long trek to the Isle of Wight. Love you loads, Tony, Beryl, and Mori xxxxxxx
