Will roll a good couple of days into one as we haven't done anything too exciting apart from enjoy the beach!
The jellyfish retreated so we were able to swim again, this made me very happy! Saw one or 2 the next day but chatting to a guy coming out he said they were harmless and proceeded to fish one out of the water into his palm where we could see him munching on a little crab.
We enjoyed a freshly chopped coconut to drink from one day- supposed to be very good for you with a slight chance it could upset a tummy, no repercussions though. We asked them to chop it open so we could scoop out the coconut unfortunately mine was a duff and had no flesh so Amy gave me her second half.
We ventured back into town to pick up some supplies, big disappointment though as out favourite restaurant was shut up, we'd been excited about this all day and had been planning our menu choices! Ah well we had a decent meal and Led Zepher and had some live music to entertain us too.
That night was a famous full moon party... Which was already kicking off. We've heard a lot of bad things though and just being two girls we were warned away from them, the place was heaving already so we left the party go-oers to get themselves into the states they would more than likely end up in and their hangovers the next morning... We retreated back to strawberry and a very good hot chocolate. I know, we're just too cool, 23/24 going on 90 we joked.
Yesterday the most exciting thing that happened was Amy nearly getting pooed on by a big Gecko she thought was a mini crocodile. We had started doing a mini exercise class and Amy was lying on the bungalow floor with the undiscovered Gecko high on the beam above. Oh how I laughed! Today we've chilled out in the seating/restaurant area of Strawberry in the shade catching up on a few bits and writing lists, we may venture out for a swim and cold shake shortly.
