Kia Ora! Back in New Zealand again. Well, xmas and New Year was a blast. Did the park thing for xmas, was so relaxed you would not believe. No slaving over preparing dinner or anything. Just wacked a couple of steaks and kebabs on the barbie and it was done in 20 mins. We then just sat in the sun for the rest of the day. Met up with Aaron and friends later in the evening and went into the city to his mates flat for a few drinks. Then managed to find practically the only bar open in the city at the casino and stayed there for a few hours. New Years eve was awesome too. We walked up to a park near Bondi golf course and we had a few of the harbour bridge and Bondi beach, so we got the best of both worlds. Sat up there with a few others and a box of wine, with some music in the background and just chilled. Glad we didn't actually go to the harbour. A lot of people in the hostel went and said it was just awful. You couldn't move and it was just so crowded. They probably got a better view I must admit, but I am glad we did what we did. I did have some wicked photos but some #*!!%$## person stole my camera along with all my xmas and new year photos, so I don't want to talk about it!

Checked out of Bondi on the 5th and went to the Blue Mountains for a couple of nights, neede to chill out after our hectic 2 weeks in Bondi. I love the Blue Monts. Did a load of walking and went on the skyway and rail again. Made sure I took Sevo to the hot chocolate place, but had a milkshake this time- yummy! We then came back to Sydney for one night before flying to Auckland. So, we are now in New Zealand. Going to hire a car tomorrow as it seems to be the best option as we are going to try to go to some of the places less vistited by tourists and therefore not many buses go there. Also typically it is raining!

Anyway, I think I have now told everyone about my sponsorship, sorry if I missed anyone out. In case I did, the company I worked for in Melbourne have offered to sponsor me so I can stay in Oz and work for them for another 2 years. So I have come to NZ until 29th Jan and then I fly back to Oz to start work on the 1st Feb!!! I know - me, working, it's going to be very weird after all this travelling. NZ is now officially my last destination of my travels :-(
