Wow wow wow! Sorry all who are following my blog! It's been crazy busy being by myself! But! I finished the dvd and only missed the budget by 4 dvds which everyone told me was really good for the Caribbean…let alone being alone on my first contract. This week has been really good. I'm starting to get a hold on how to manage everything. I'm editing a lot faster now because I'm trying to finish the edits for myself. Tomorrow I'm going to Blackbeard's castle which I'm super excited for! It's so crazy that it is almost December already! Today I got a nice tan and my hair got a little lighter…so it doesn't feel like December to me! They put up the Christmas decorations last turn around day. It's so nice! I think I'm going to really enjoy Christmas on the ship. Obviously everyone wants to be with their families for Christmas but I'm sure we're all going to make the most of it. My friend Rey told me that the photog team does secret santas so that's exciting! Well not too much else is going on. Busy as always! Still loving this job and especially my team. Me and princess I think were just meant to be!

Seriously!??! It's December??? This is crazy! I successfully finished another cruise, this time completely all by myself. The next cruise though I'm getting another videographer! He's from Serbia and he'll be in his 2nd contract as a junior videographer. He won't be coming until St. Thomas though…which is at the end of the cruise so he's no help to me next cruise! I have 2 weddings to film so it's going to be crazy! Okay…sorry to cut it short but Lorrie wants to watch sytycd!

SO BUSY ALL THE TIME!!! This week I'm crazy busy. I have 2 weddings, a re-newal of vows and I'm still by myself. Ivan, the new videographer will be coming AFTER I'm done with everything so he's no help to me this cruise. Next cruise, I have 2 wedding again! But at least I'll have another pair of hands to help out. Other than being busy things are going well. I really miss Roelof though! I don't really like my manager. He's kind of power hungry so he makes me feel like I'm a level 1. I know that I am a level 1 but I have all the responsibilities of a senior. So it's frustrating sometimes. Maybe Ivan will make things better…hopefully. The new photogs though are alright. The ones that replaced Chris and Taryn fit in right away! One is a girl from Australia and the other is a boy from Brazil. Prior to them, we got a girl from South Africa, a boy from Russia and a boy from Serbia. The boy from Serbia was with us for 3 days then he was sent to the Ruby. The team dynamic has definitely changed but I still love them all dearly! Today we were supposed to go to San Juan but the weather was so bad last night that we got thrown off schedule and had to skip it. I LOVE sea days because it's a good time for me to catch up on work. Everyone else though was pretty upset. Oh well! I'm going to the zoo tomorrow in St. Maarten! Yahh! I am so sick of beach tours. Next cruise we will be starting a new itinerary. We will be going to Aruba and Curacao in addition to Princess Cays. Every other week is going to suck but then every other week is going to be good. We start with Princess Cays and end with sea days for the first cruise but for the second one we start with sea days and end with Princess Cays. Ending a cruise on a port day is the worse because everything is so rushed. On another note, Christmas is around the corner and it's like 80 degrees at least every day! Larie and I put up decorations in our room and we all pulled secret santas at our meeting the other day. I got my assistant manager from Australia…she's going to be a tough one! The ship is so nice right now! We have decorations up everywhere. It makes me homesick though sometimes because then I think about how I'm going to be here for Christmas. The worse part is that we will be in Princess Cays for Christmas Eve and we will be in Florida Christmas day which will be the start of a new cruise. Yuck. Well, the business continues tomorrow so bedtime! Night all!
