Boy is it HOT!!!!!! since friday we have been made to live in a heat wave.. i have never ever ever felt heat like this before. you can cook eggs on the ground it is CRAZY!!! we can hardly sleep at night due to the lack of air in the atmosphere! i bought a fan on monday... got it back to my room, set it up and realised it was a pile of sh*te so tuck it back and bought this one that is loud but bloody great! in fact it makes me a lil too cold hahaha i cant win!

well i feel like i have been here for about a year already.. ive packed so much into my days its unreal! ive had too many nights out, shopped far too much and been out for dinner for just about every meal.... until i started working 14 hour days.. i feel like ive been put in prison.. but i do love it at the same time! my class has 8 children in aged between 12 - 16.. theyre hard work, moody as hell and have attuttudes worse than me which is awful! they call and swear at me all the time and try to attack me if i say something they dont like but its great... i love it and defo wanna class like this at home!

i start work at 7am and wake up 15 smelly boys, give them breakfast and get them ready for school... then at 9 i take them to school and become a help within the classroom until 3pm. from 3 - 9 pm i work in the dorms again and assist the kids as they play out, we play games, go swimming, have tea, play more games and then i put them to bed. I have become a mam to 15 kids in 2 weeks. long hard days but earnign a lot of cash so happy days! i leave on friday to start at camp which im mixed up about.. excited for camp but sad about leaving what i love! always my case eh!

i worked saturday but as soon as we finished we all went to the local bars. there was a loud band playing and since ive become a mam... i cant cope with the hyperness of youngsters so i left early hahaha! (yup me leaving before the bitter end). on sunday it was the puerto rican festival and parade in NYC.. it was out of this world.. ive never experienced anything like it before. we went to sit in central park to chill before returning to hillside to get ready for work again!

this weekend im excited to catch up on sleep and hopefully get up to something good on saturday.. i am working sunday in the hillside office for training etc! and then we get all prepared for the new staff to come.. i cant wait! i may be moving house so that i have a room to myself and live with lindsay, sarah and amanda! it will be class! hopefully it will work out, just waiting to here bout it now!
