And so we're back in Whitehaven. After only 15 miles handlebar bag got jarred off on a bump, and went in front of wheel. Hels came off, downhill at speed, and well, the pic says it all:-( very lovely helpful people in the north sorted out getting to a&e, b&b and a taxi there. Finger broken and painful; Not sure if we'll be continuing tomorrow:-( bikes are at Loweswater (15 miles): front brake broken but won't be able to use it much anyway; truck at Sunderland (140 miles); h's folks 200 miles away. Any suggestions which don't involve teleportation?
