We are now 11 days into the Camino de Santiago and are feeling the strain!! Today we walked for 40kms and are exhausted...but no rest for the wicked!! We are off again tomorrow...
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for writing messages on our board and let you know that we do read them and appreciate it even though we may not reply to you personally!!
Keep on following our progress on this site!
Love, Helen and Akixxx

Here is our first, long overdue message to you both. We have finally gone wireless and therefore its much easier to just to sit on the sofa and send this than head up to the attic. We have been keeping an eye on your travels thus far, which by the way look amazing, as do the pair of you.
The news with us is that Isaac is finally walking, even managing a little bit of hands free dancing ( something to be seen!). He babbles away aswell but sadly makes little sense. Other than that life is just really based around work and isaac. I see the surgeon on Thursday to find out the details of the op and when it will be so will let u know. We are heading to south of France in three weeks time with MArtin, Katie and Evie for about 10 days, staying in a villa we have rented so if you're that way let us know.
Mum and dad should be arriving soon for the night before heading up to Newcastle for a spot of baby sitting whilst we are all at a wedding - i.t. is off to the barn - in fact that sounds like them!
Best go and put the kettle on - will message you again soon ( can we add photos to this? Got some great ones of Isaac? Will get james to have a look
Happy walking!
Lol & kisses (frm i.t.)

Meant to say how great the pics of Parc Guell are! Hard to believe I used to live in an apartment no more than 10 mins away!!!!

Hey guys! Sorry it's been so long since we last posted a message! Thanks for all the fab postcards - we always read them to Isabella and show her some of your myriad photos so she knows where you are. She loves seeing you both...."there's my auntie Helen and uncle Aki"..! We're REALLY hoping we can make it out to Santiago de Compestella to see you but, as you know, we are waiting to hear about what the docs have in store for Isabella. As soon as we get some dates, we'll know where we are. Mum and Dad are coming up this weekend (bank holiday) and we are going to leave Isabella with them for the first time (!) and head off to a friend's wedding. Looking forward to it as it's bound to be a bit footballers wives as she's an air hostess..fabulous! Off to a ball with some Cambridge friends the following w/end so, all in all, going to be busy. Good luck with the rest of the walk - hope you're not getting too many blisters! Besos! DJI

Hi Helen and Aki,
My Mum has just e-mailed me the link to this page. She certainly wasn't lying about the number of photos there are to look at. I will spend some time looking through them all.
You certainly seem to be enjoying yourselves and I hope you continue to do so. I have added my e-mail address if you want to contact me. Will post another message soon.
Lots of love,
Gareth xx

Hello, you two!
Wow, just been looking at your journal! It all sounds amazing; how on earth will you ever be able to accept real life after this!!!
Just heard from Sarah and Martin that it's Easter tomorrow, so Happy Easter, take care of each other and enjoy trekking!

Hi Auntie Helen and Uncle Aki,
I am getting a bit of help writing this, it's true, but I wanted to say thankyou for my cute dress that you sent me. Mummy says that my friends Gabriella, Megan and Elodie from nursery will want one, too! I probably won't be going back until the end of April - after I have had another one of those special photographs of my chest. At the moment, my most favourite games are shopkeepers, magic painting and playdo. My favourite programme is Postman Pat and I know all the words so I sing it quite loudly alot. Grandad Moss has broken Granny's kitchen and I said he was a naughty Grandad and I ask Granny all the time on the phone " Kitchen still broken, Granny? Oh, no!" Mummy's says it's nearly my tea time now so I have to go. I wonder how much rice I can tip onto the floor this evening? Cuddles, Isabella x x x xx x
