Today we went accross to Cap Ferrett on the local ferry, it takes about half an hour. The weather is fantastic, lovely blue skies and hot. Cap Ferrett is famous for its oyster beds, and when the sea is at low tide they are all uncovered. We sat on the beach for a few hours while dad and the boys went off exploring!! Today was a little bit dull so we decided to go to the park over looking the sea at Arcachon and climb the tower built by Gustave Eiffel, it was a bit tricky climbing the spiral stairs and we all felt a bit wobbly at the top!!!

Today we took mom and dad to the top of europes largest sand dunes - Dune de Pilat. Its quite a climb to the top 153 steps altogether!! but the views at the top are great, we sat and had a picnic.

Today mom and dad arrived and stuart picked them up at the airport, it was a lovely hot day and it was great for us all to meet up, especially for Tom and Harry. The villa is quite big so there is plenty of room for us all, after they had unpacked we drove to the sea front and walked all along the long promenade, passed all the boats and the jetty, the boys ran along the beach which has the most beautiful fine sand.
