Today Christelle and I learnt how to cook Thai food at "The Best Thai Cookery School" and have eaten enough food to last us the week. It was a days cooking course where we were first taken to a market and taught all about picking the right food (e.g. that small chicken eggs are better than large in supermarkets as the larger are older hens and don't taste as good). So tonight we ended up at a cabaret show rather than Thai boxing. Was definitely just as good an experience though and a bit of a laugh! We also went round the late night market and bought a few nice clothes and had an unsuccessful barta with a very stubborn lil Thai woman. Either way everything is cheap as chips so it doesn't matter too much!

After a 12 hour bus journey we reached Chiang Mai this morning at 6am giving us 2hrs to nap before our tour of elephant trekking, bamboo rafting, hiking to and swimming in a waterfall and a local lunch in between. Christelle and I were given the smallest elephant but got to feed the biggest ones bananas at the end. Today we woke up too late and missed breakfast so Me Christelle Alex and Alex's friend Denzel went for brunch at a gorgeous Thai restaurant and Alex treated is to a lovely foot massage before going to the airport (by Thai women, not by him). For Alex's birthday meal his friend Denzel took us all to the Sky Bar at La Bua hotel, famous for where the Hangover 2 was filmed. We ate outside on the top floor overlooking Bangkok. After a concoction of champagne, cocktails, red wine, desert wine and two frangelico's we took a tuk tuk to another bar for more cocktails and shots and a sheesha :) ...and might of ended up in another club after that...
