Arrived in Santiago and finally Hecker can breathe. No longer requiring farmacia stops every five minutes for drugs that are prescription only in the UK. Altitude sickness can go f·$k itself. Santiago is a drastic contrast to Bolivia, it is very westernised and poverty is much less apparent. Had a wander around first night and managed to find the most expensive place to eat in South America. Having a good laugh whilst we both struggle with our Spanish. Jones has had to watch me eat a supersized MaccyD's twice because he still can't manage to order simple stuff! Will be with you once again soon.
