Namaste!

Oh my gosh! After 16 hours of travelling, we landed in New Delhi. What a flight. 12 hours! The ticket agent in JFK told us, "yeeees, the flight is full, 300%." I said, "3 deep?" My mind was racing then of what the seating actually looked like. There were lots and lots of children. All of them cute of course and all of them spoiled rotten.

My neighbor Panhaj was very nice and offered so many ideas for shopping. He stated that his wife and 2 daughters live outside of Delhi and that he travels back and forth to New York.

I also got tired of eating. It seemed as though we ate every 2 or 3 hours. Free alcohol and beer. The temperaure on the plane was nice. I'd only felt a chill late into the night.

I also spent a bit talking to a young lady on her way home to Chinenge. We talked about are travels until we had to disperse from the cateen area, as they were about to set-up for a meal service.

Anyway, for me, 28 countries later, I was excited when we were standing to pick up our baggage. Yes, that was the moment the excitement finally came over me, because I knew we were about to embark on a totally new adventure.

As usual we get the stares, but it doesn't bother me as much now, as it had during my trip to China.

Hope and I exchanged some money, retrieved our luggage and headed out to our tour bus.

Driving was also fascinating. Hope tried to get a shot of a family of 4 on a small motorbike, but didn't have her camera at hand. The streets weren't as crowded as I thought them to be, but maybe we'll run into that another day. LOL.

We made out way to the hotel and the shower couldn't come sooner. The hotel is beautiful and I will get a few more shots tomorrow.

Dinner was at 7 and it was a buffet. Tasty bites and some bites so hot I could hardly swallow.
