Hey Everybody!
We made it here in one piece. I hate flying cramped up, but seemed as though everyone was travelling today.
Sabrina, Ron is hooked on that snack mix, tried to eat most of the okra out. An airport amenities surveyor also noticed the bag and said, "I like that stuff, it's really good." Ron completed the survey. I was just passing through and wasn't thinking about a survey. Sabrina, we didn't have much time, the high-heels were working me, so I didn't walk around to find those chocolates you like.
Not as warm as it was last year, but 75 degrees will still work for us. We arrived about 20 minutes early. The sun was shining and we both were so excited.
This time I declared the food I'd taken. Wasn't a big deal, just that a lady had to come and check to make sure everything was frozen. COOL!
We headed on out and I walked down to get the rental car. As soon as I opened the door, I saw Adrian. I said, "Hi Adrian." He smiled and said, "Hello Mum, Welcome Back!" I said, "thank you!" He then said, "I'll be with you in just a moment Mum." He was working all by himself and there were 2 families in front of me. I patiently waited, as I was already in vacation mode.
Got the car and headed around to pick up Ron and we were off.
We both amazed ourselves as we drove all the way out to the villa with no map. I did make a huge boo-boo. When I turned onto our last turn, I immediately jumped in the wrong lane. The people driving slowed down. Probably saying, "tourists." We waved apologetically and Ron says, "that's why I cannot drive on the left side." I was trying to shoot across the highway and there was a little white car there, which threw me off.
We got on the right track and passed our favorite restaurant, which was quite busy.
We got to the place and unloaded the car. It took me about an hour to unload and put the food away, while Ron already started dodging Flo. Our trusty neighbor, down the way. He said she was walking with a small child. Probably have her grandkids here for a visit.
The house is still gorgeous and she added just a few new added touches to make the place much more comfortable.
I woke up about midnight, closed the sliding doors. It was a bit cool. I made a can of lemonade, grabbed the snack mix and headed back up.
But we made and I'm about to get some shut eye.
