What a pile of stressy crap start to the new year! We discovered today that there's really bad storms down the south of Thailand and a lot of flooding,so much that no busses or trains are going to be running to cross the border into Malaysia! Which is where we need to go in two days time. ARGH. Our visa for Thailand is up in two days and if we stay one day its ok, otherwise we get charged about 20 pound a day for both of us to stay in Thailand! We can't get a visa extention because we'd have to go to North Thailand which is about a day away, and that'd be a waste of time and money as we pretty much just want to move into Malaysia now.
Stupid weather, you can never rely on it wherever you go really.

We're a bit annoyed because the only option is flights and every search we do on the net comes up with zero results...we're trying to do it off our own backs through Samui airport, but we might just have to end up booking a flight through our bungalows agency!

There might be a shortage of flights aswell due to everyone wanting to leave Thailand at the same time after new year, we're in a bit of a pickle...but we'll get it sorted one way or another. If anyone can text me with info if they see anything on the news about these floods and how long they will last etc would much appreciated. or if anyone would be so kind as to look up cheap flights leaving in the next few days into Malaysia that would be appreciated too...not having much luck finding anything online.
